About the new machine directive
The new machinery directive will be effective from December 29, 2009. Until then, it’s the directive listed in “Machines and other technical equipment” that is valid, AFS 1993:10 (1994:48). It is the European Parliament and Council’s Machinery directive 2006/42/EG, which is now implemented in European legislation.
